Services
Although mass cytometry avoids the traditional pitfalls of flow cytometry such as compensation and spillover, intelligent panel design is still necessary. We are happy to work with our users to develop optimized panels that maximize signal resolution, minimize background, and ensure confident identification of true biological populations.
We provide assisted data acquisition services on both the CyTOF XT and Hyperion XTi platforms to ensure high-quality and reproducible data generation. Our team supports instrument setup, tuning, sample acquisition, and quality monitoring throughout the run, helping users maximize data quality and experimental consistency.
Power users may prefer to set up their own acquisitions to maximize efficiency and flexibility. Contact us to get trained on either platform.
We provide end-to-end bioinformatics and quantitative data analysis support for high-dimensional and spatial biology datasets. This includes preprocessing, quality control, statistical analysis, visualization, and biological interpretation tailored to your experimental goals.
We also support advanced image and spatial analysis using Visiopharm, a leading platform for digital pathology and quantitative tissue analysis. Visiopharm enables robust segmentation, phenotyping, and spatial quantification in multiplex imaging and histology datasets, allowing users to extract reproducible, high-content measurements from complex tissue architectures.
We do not offer conjugation services at this time.
Visiopharm
High-parameter imaging analysis is complex and differs across tissue types and disease models. We are happy to connect our users with specialized imaging analysis support on the Visiopharm platform to ensure tailored solutions for every biological question.
Protocols
Standard Biotools offers sample preparation protocols. These may need to be optimized for specific tissue types or cells.

Please email michelle.zuo@utoronto.ca for booking assisted acquisitions. Please note ablation times may be subject to rebooking or adjustment at the operator’s discretion based on instrument performance.
Please submit your request at least 24h in advance of your desired time. If your desired time is unavailable, we will offer the next available timeslot.
We do not currently offer after-hours or weekend setup.
